TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE, AND DISCLAIMERS

By enrolling for any of the Face the Case sessions, you are confirming that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions outlined below. We reserve the right to change these at any time without prior notification.

1. Face the Case is an on line teaching service. No implicit or explicit guarantees are made.
2. You are giving your full, unrestricted permission to the owner/s of FacetheCase.com to record any or all sessions or portions thereof in any format without identifying your person. You are also giving your full, unrestricted permission to the owner/s of FacetheCase.com to publish and distribute the recordings so obtained without identifying your person. No payment in cash, kind or services will be made to you or accrue to you for the above permission.
3. There are no discounts applicable to the enrollment fee except when specifically mentioned.
4. If you are enrolling as a Presenter, you will get to present between 2- 20 cases depending on presenter enrollment in a given session. You will be able to to interact with the faculty.
5. If you are enrolling as a Listener, you will only be allowed to listen in and watch the session. You will not be able to ask questions or interact with the faculty or co-ordinator.
6. Registration allows only one attendee to attend the on line Face the Case session. All attendees, must register separately even if using a common computer.
7. No handouts will be provides unless a specific exception is made by the faculty of a particular session.
8. Recording of the sessions in audio,video, still image or any other format is strictly prohibited. This does not prohibit you form taking any notes
9. It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure that he/she has access to a computer with fast internet connection and has the required permission to log on to GoToWebinar.com from that computer.
10. It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure that he/she has access to a computer mic and speaker or a telephone and required permission to make long distance calls from that telephone. The cost of the telephone call will be the sole responsibility of the attendee irrespective of whether the registration fee has been waived for a session or not. We strongly recommend using the computer headphones or your free cell phone minutes.
11. It is the responsibility of the attendee to attend the on line conference from a place that is not noisy. We strongly discourage calling from coffee shops or other public places as the past experience has shown that they degrade the quality of Face the Case experience.
12. Even though we take the schedule extremely seriously, Face the Case rerves the right to cancel a session at any time before or during the session. The owner/s of face the case will not be responsible for any monetary damages beyond refunding the fee of the cancelled session or applying it to a future session depending on the enrollee's wish.
13. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
    Once registered, all cancellations by the enrollee must be made by email sent to registration@facethecase.com. Applicable refunds will be made within 7 days after receipt of the canceling email. The following refunds will apply to cancellations:
    
    • Cancellation made 1 week or more before the session – Refund of $25 per attendee per session for Presenters and $5 per attendee per session for Listeners
    • Cancellation made 48 hours or more but less than 1 week before the session – Refund of $10 per attendee per session for Presenters and no refund for Listeners
    • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the session – No refund.
14. All disputes between you and owner/s of FaceTheCase.com will be attempted to be settled by mediation before any litigation is initiated. Any litigation will be under the jurisdiction of the courts in Lexington, Kentucky or Fayette County, Kentucky.
